Published since 2003, Roxanne St. Claire is a New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of nearly fifty romance and suspense novels. She has written several popular series, including The Dogfather, Barefoot Bay, the Guardian Angelinos, and the Bullet Catchers.
In addition to being an ten-time nominee and one-time winner of the prestigious RITA™ Award for the best in romance writing, Roxanne’s novels have won the National Reader’s Choice Award for best romantic suspense four times, as well as the Maggie, the Daphne du Maurier Award, the HOLT Medallion, Booksellers Best, Book Buyers Best, the Award of Excellence, and many others.
She lives in Florida with her husband, and still attempts to run the lives of her teenage daughter and 20-something son. She loves dogs, books, chocolate, and wine, but not always in that order.
Adam by Roxanne St. Claire is the second book in the 7 Brides for 7 Soldiers series. A series that centers around the lives of seven friends, the family struggles and the town they live in. A book rich with family struggles, differences and betrayal have shaped each soldier into men worthy of their own story.
Adam Tucker is a former Coastie now working with his twin brother in Eagle’s Ridge. A town that’s majestic, peaceful and soon destined to be a major tourist attraction thanks to a few men with big ideas. The allure of it’s out-of-the-way charm is about to bring Adam the one thing he needs and force him to settle the ghosts from his past.
Jadyn McAllister has a career and life she loves in Miami until something happens that finds her fleeing across the country to keep herself safe. If she can keep a low profile, she might come out in one piece. Can she trust the people in this town? Everything hinges on her not becoming attached to anyone. It’s too risky, too many secrets between them could jeopardize any chance of romance.
If you’re looking for a book that has the perfect balance of excitement and romance, one-click this book. This slow burn delivers a fast paced story from start to finish and the chemistry is yummy! I love the details of the town, the characters and the plot. I felt like I was right there with them walking, sleeping and enjoying all that Eagle’s Ridge has to offer. Well done to the authors in this series. They have collectively captured the little nuances and details to make this a seamless read no matter what book you start with. While I’ve only read the first two books in this series, I am eagerly waiting the arrival of the last five soldiers.
This two peppers spicy latte has just enough to make you tingle and is it’s for mature readers 18+.
I received this ARC from InkSlingerPR for a fair and honest review.
